Letter about my community - Task Eight

Student Village

Dear Future Student



I just want to let you know what its like living in the Student Village. Living in the Student Village is like living in a different country that is full of different colours because the student village is multi-cultural.  We share our different cultures together for example; I have friends that are indians and they cook yummy delicious traditional indian dinner and it was very beautiful dinner.

It is a beautiful place to stay because when you sit on the balcony beside the house you can see people walking pass and saying hi to you and as you sit there you can feel the breeze running through your hair and pass your face, its sometimes cold and also nice too.


Good thing about staying in the Student Village it's because it's close to where I study. Visual Art Block Z. Other things that are good are the kitchens, they have everything you need to use to cook like for example; equipments. Food is what we have to buy on ourselves. Common room is filled with different people laying pool table and ping pong and also watching movies too. If you choose to com to the student village you will have an amazing time here.

My long term goal is not always the same. Sometime it changes...i meant my mind always change. I first wanted to study my bachelor out of New Zealand and now I want to be able to sell my art at a gallery in 2 years.

Step - by - step

1.) We plan first before weekends, before going to trips.

2.) Always looking out for notices for the Student Village.

3.) We play random sports outside when there's nothing to do.

4.) We always plan what to cook for the next day and we take turns as a groups to cook.

5.) When it comes to birthdays, we go out and celebrate it or celebrate it at the Village.

6.)  We work as a group to keep our place area tidy and also we look out for each other as well.

7.) We talk to different people from different countries too.
